Square Enix - Neues SaGa-Spiel in Planung und Remakes angedacht

Ein neues SaGa-Spiel befindet sich derzeit in der Planungsphase, dies bestätigte SaGa-Schöpfer Akitoshi Kawazu bei einem Konzert in Japan. Darüber hinaus will Square Enix den 25. Geburtstag der Reihe wohl ausführlich feiern. In dem Zusammenhang sollen auch Remakes oder Umsetzungen von älteren SaGa-Spielen (z.B. Final Fantasy Legend, Romancing SaGa, SaGa Frontier) für aktuelle Plattformen im Bereich des Möglichen sein.

"There was a Romancing SaGa live concert event today, and during the event Kawazu was a guest speaker. He announced that they will be celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the SaGa series in various ways throughout 2014 and 2015. There will be collaborations and they are considering remakes or ports of older titles, while they will also continue support the Emperor SaGa mobile title. Most importantly, at the end Kawazu confirmed that a brand new title in the SaGa series is in the planning stages, but he did not elaborate.
