Legend of Grimrock: Fortsetzung offiziell angekündigt

Es werde "mehr Grimrock" geben, hatte Almost Human schon vor einiger Zeit verlauten lassen. Das Studio war sich allerdings lange Zeit nicht sicher, ob man seinem überraschend erfolgreichen Legend of Grimrock eine Erweiterung oder doch gleich eine komplette Fortsetzung spendieren soll.

Nachdem das Team zuvor den Umsetzungen für andere Betriebssysteme und der Arbeit am Editor recht gut ausgelastet war, hatte man vor ein paar Wochen schon ein paar Teaser-Bilder veröffentlicht. Mittlerweile haben sich die Finnen auch zu einer Entscheidung durchgerungen und teilen mit: Man arbeite jetzt offiziell an Legend of Grimrock II.

"Creating a mere DLC or expansion to Grimrock simply would not have felt right. As today's meeting proved, we still have a lot of ideas we'd like to explore, lots and lots of new content already done (originally made for a DLC/expansion) and a big engine update in the works. Simply put, a DLC would have limited too much what we can do. With a full blown sequel we can raise Grimrock to the next level."

In kommenden Artikeln wolle man dann genauer darauf eingehen, was es für Neuerungen und Verbesserungen geben soll.
