Dreamfall Chapters: Eine Million-Marke, deutsche Version und Europolis

Die Kickstarter-Finanzierung von Dreamfall Chapters läuft weiterhin gut. Nachdem das Mindestziel von 850.000 Dollar in der letzten Woche erreicht wurde, sind mittlerweile über eine Million Dollar zusammengekommen. Somit wurden schon drei "Stretch Goals" erreicht: Linux- und OS X-Versionen (900.000 Dollar), die große Bibliothek von Marcuria (950.000 Dollar) und zusätzliche Nebengeschichten sowie mehr Charaktere (1 Mio. Dollar). Kommen über 1,25 Mio. Dollar zusammen, sollen deutsche und französische Sprachversionen in Angriff genommen werden. Noch zwei Wochen lang kann man das Projekt unterstützen.

Außerdem haben die Entwickler einen der zentralen Schauplätze in "Stark" (unsere Welt im Jahr 2220) vorgestellt: Europolis.

"But so far, we haven't shown anything from Stark, the world of science and order; our world in the year 2220. Today, we're revealing one of our key locations in Stark, and that location is: Europolis. A vast European city-state covering the former independent nations of Poland, Germany, the Czech Republic, Belgium and the Netherlands. Its blackened, concrete tendrils reach as far north as the Baltic states, and as far south as Paris. Europolis is not just the dark heart of Europe; it is the filthy bowels and bloodied entrails of Europe."
